When I was younger trying to understand art that had unrealistic color schemes I thought it was done for purely aesthetic reasons, reasons I honestly didn’t like, I didn’t like hyper realistic either.
Often times nature can evoke an emotional response, is this an inherit thing or are we taught to be in awe of creation? Either way art often times captures emotions, explains things that can’t be spoken. Therefore the emotions experienced by looking at a landscape can then be translated into the medium that is a art.
I honestly don’t have words either looking at this piece, but I feel the direct emotional connection.
